A confident smile can change how you feel
Cosmetic care at Lake Hill Dental Care is designed for patients who want to feel proud of their smile again without pressure or pretense. We start by listening to your goals and concerns. Some patients want subtle changes, while others are ready for a full transformation. No matter where you’re starting, we offer guidance that’s honest, supportive, and shaped around your comfort.
Options that work with your smile and goals

Veneers
Veneers can smooth out worn edges, close gaps, and improve tooth shape or color. We design each one to fit your face and bite. For some patients, we use digital previews to help visualize the change before anything is placed.

Composite bonding
Bonding is a conservative option that uses tooth-colored resin to rebuild chips or even out a rough surface. It’s often completed in one visit and doesn’t require removing much enamel.

Smile redesign
When multiple changes are needed, we create a full plan that supports your health and appearance. This might include crowns, implants, or gum contouring. Each case is carefully staged and personalized to your goals.

Whitening
We offer in-office and take-home whitening for patients looking to brighten their smile safely. Before we begin, we check for sensitivity and gum health to make sure whitening is appropriate for you.

What we see changes how we treat
Dr. Johnstone shares how a personal shift toward health and longevity changed the way she practices dentistry. In this conversation, she explains how microscopy, bacterial testing, and a more human approach help patients understand inflammation, make informed decisions, and feel like partners in their care.

Frequently asked questions

No. Our approach is conservative and evidence-based. Treatments like bonding and veneers require removing very little enamel, and in many cases, they can actually help protect worn or fragile edges. We never rush into irreversible procedures, and you’ll always understand what’s being recommended and why.
That depends on the treatment and how your bite functions. Bonding may last for several years, while veneers and crowns can last much longer. We’ll talk about expected wear, long-term maintenance, and what you can do at home to keep your results stable. We also recommend regular check-ins so we can monitor how everything is holding up.
In many cases, yes. We often combine cosmetic care with restorative or periodontal treatment. We’ll begin with any necessary repairs or inflammation control, then move into cosmetic planning. You don’t have to be in perfect shape to get started; we’ll meet you where you are.
